Happy March Creepy Crew,

Thank goodness that winter is finally almost over. I don’t know how much longer I could take the cold and seasonal blues. I can’t wait to get outside more. Hoping to get inspired more this year by nature.

There hasn’t been much going on in the World of KVong Art to announce. Been still on a con/show break, but that’s starting back up this next month. I feel like I’ve been really needing it too. I’ve been going through a lot of changes in my personal life that have impacted my ability and motivation to make art. My full-time job has been a real drainer, to the point I want to find new employment. I also found out that my family is going to be getting bigger this fall, which is exciting, but also taking a lot out of me.

I’m going to try to focus my energy on what I can control during this time. Do creative projects that make me excited but are also not too demanding due to the constant changes I will be dealing with. We’ll see what happens this year. Wish me luck!

Now let’s talk about art.

There are no new updates to shows/cons. However, I unfortunately won’t be able to do my normal shows past the end of October. So my season will be ending earlier than normal. I have a few more I hope to add to the roster once their approvals have been sent out. I will keep you all updated.

The blend of gothic horror, traditional Japanese art and culture, with the sexual commentary is very powerful and moving. Every time I look at his work I can see it has a deep meaning behind it. Whether it’s personal or social. He also has a thing for Vampires, which I love. Here are a few of my favorite works by him that are a little more safe to share.
